Your first year in network marketing can be a real struggle. There are many challenges. This includes rejection, time wasters, and much more. The aim of this article is to give you 5 essential tips to help make your first year a success.
1) Know your business - Before you head out and start marketing your business you need to fully understand your companies product or service. Make a list of questions that you have or had before you started.
These questions will most likely be the same as other people that are evaluating your business. So if you have answers to the questions in your prospects head, then you have a good advantage.
2) Up line and Events - Remember that you are in the business industry of networking, so network with your Up line team. Attend company events and make it your business to know at least 3 successful members in your up line.
This will give you a point of contact for inspiration, support or advice.
3) Goals - To insure that you will be successful in your first year in network marketing you need to define what “successful” really is. Write down on paper a clear goal that has a deadline date. For example, get your second promotion by December 31st. Once you have this clearly defined you can quantify what successful is.
The next step is to create smaller short term goals that lead you to achieve the main goal. For example, to achieve the second promotion by December 31st you will need 10 new recruits in your business. So if there is 5 months until December 31st then you need to recruit 2 MLM Network Marketing leads a month. It is really that simple.
4) Massive Action and Consistency - Once you have your goals defined you will then need to create a weekly action plan that lays out what you will do each day to be on track. You can use a diary and jot down how much leads or prospects you need to contact per day to achieve the monthly short-term goal.
The key to success is Massive Action and Consistency. Stick to the plan and even if the results are not instant continue to focus on the activity.
5) Marketing strategy - 97% of people in network marketing will fail. This is the harsh reality. If you do not have a good marketing strategy then you are on the road to join the 97%. If you want to join the 3% that are successful you need to have a very clear marketing strategy.
Your strategy will need to be easy for anyone who joins you to copy. This will allow your team to grow quickly. The easier you make it for your team, the faster your team will grow.
In step 4 we looked at daily targets that feed in to your long and short-term goals to achieve success in your first year in network marketing.
You need to have a marketing strategy that will allow you to generate the activity you need. For example you may need to prospect 5 MLM Network Marketing leads a day. How will you find these leads? What will you do when your warm list runs out?
I suggest that you have an online marketing strategy that will bring in a consistent amount of fresh leads a day. This strategy should be simple and easy for anyone in your team to run with.
